Here at Baby Let’s Roll I regularly review baby and child products. Having two babies of my own I realize the responsibility it implies.
Finding the everyday products to use for you and your family to make life on the go easier can be crucial. I understand the time and importance it takes into researching each products safety and features while considering your budget and lifestyle.
Having been in your position I hold myself to the highest standards when offering recommendations. Here is how I select the products you find in our guides.
We Do:
Here is everything I look for before I feature a product on our pages.

Regulatory Advice
Baby and child products are subject to regulations to ensure that they are safe and can provide parents with the information they need to make well educated decisions.
It is important that baby or child products are safe and certified by complying with any mandatory standards of the Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) which is tested by the CPSC.
Baby and child products should be clearly labeled with warnings or cautionary statements and have the manufacturer’s guide and contact information readily available.
With so many products on the market – not all products are certified, follow state and safety regulations, or they have differing standards. To ensure the utmost safety we look into the ratings of approval from ALL the following institutions:
CA.GOV – California State Car Seat Laws
Saferideforkids.com – Car Seat Laws by State
FAA – Federal Aviation Administration
CPSC.GOV – Consumer Product Safety Commision
NHTSA.GOV – National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
JPMA – Juvenile Products Manufacturing Association
ASTM – American Society for Testing and Materials

User Reviews
Personally, whenever I am looking for a product scouring through real customer reviews is a must. Unfortunately, not being able to get my hands on every single baby and child product to review myself, I actively note the positive and negative feedback from multiple platforms and sources.
I am actively involved in the community and communicate with brand and industry experts to understand product issues.

Brand History
After looking into real customer reviews of a specific product I always like to dive deeper into the brand that it is coming from. A brands history is important when considering a product in their line whether the product is new or has been around for an extended period of time.
Here are a few things I look into when considering a new brand or product:
- If the company is reputable
- If the companies product is complying with mandatory standards
- Recalls
- Manufacturing issues
- Brand affiliations

Quality & Safety
Quality and safety of a product, especially when it comes to our little ones is probably the most important factors when it comes to choosing which product is best. When adding a product to any of our pages I analyze a brands marketing claims on their product. Every brand is going to promote the “best” features and aspects of their product. I review their claims and marketing details to ensure you know what you are getting out of your product.
Quality and safety features I look for can differ depending on the specifics of the product, however, here are some overall features I consider when looking into a product:
- Recalls
- Manufacturing company
- Product material
- Certifications
- Complying with safety regulations and standards
- Labels and the important information they provide on them

Pricing & Positioning
With so many baby and child products on the market today there is a large budget range. I will always recommend a product that is the best quality over price point. However, with the large budget range and the large range of products this allows me to offer a variety of great recommendations with various budgets.

What We Don’t Do:
Here is everything I don’t do when I feature a product on our pages.

Sponsorships
Baby Let’s Roll does not take sponsorships from brands. I feel it is important to feature products based of off research and quality of the product itself.

Ignore Facts
The safety of your baby or child is not something that I take lightly. When researching a product it is very important that the product hits the check points that I have stated above before I consider recommending them on Baby Let’s Roll.
