The Doona Car Seat is TUV and FAA certified for air-travel. A great travel feature of the Doona is that it does not require the car seat base. The Doona can be safely strapped into a plane or vehicle without it. However, if you are traveling internationally it may require you to have the ISOFIX base depending on vehicles seat belts. To know how to secure the car seat into a plane there is a sticker on the back of the Doona itself (proves it is FAA). To secure it in a vehicle there is another sticker on the side.
